What the hell was I thinking when I decided to fly a World Tour in X-Plane? On July 26th I drafted a general flight path around the globe that covered as much countries as possible. It turned out that I had plotted nearly 60.000 nautical miles (or 110,000 kilometers) on the world map. So I started to hesitate and wondered wether I should or should not lower my ambitions. But then I remembered the saying “If you want to eat an elephant, you should cut it into pieces first”. So that is what I am doing. I am flying the full 60,000 nautical miles with a maximum of approximately 1,250 nautical miles per flight. This is what it looks like...
